Terms & Conditions
These are terms and conditions for London Landscapers. In order to allow a clear smooth process of project completion we have set out these terms so both sides can understand their responsibilities. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call us on 020 8087 3033.
1. Contract
The agreed final quotation forms a binding contract between the client and London Landscapers for the specified scope of work.
Any alterations, additions, or modifications to the scope of work must be agreed in writing prior to execution.
Acceptance of our quotation constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept electronic bank transfers (BACS), cheques, and cash payments.
Invoices are issued upon agreed milestones and final project completion as specified in the original quotation.
3. Decision Process & Architecture
The client is responsible for approving final 3D design concepts, plant specifications, and material selections before construction commences.
Any changes requested after material procurement may incur additional costs and timeline adjustments.
4. Insurance & Liability
London Landscapers holds comprehensive Public Liability Insurance coverage up to £5,000,000.
We adhere strictly to Health and Safety regulations across all project sites in Greater London.
5. Guarantees & Workmanship
All structural work (decking frames, paving bases, retaining walls) comes with a 5-year workmanship guarantee.
Material guarantees are provided in accordance with original manufacturer warranties.
6. Natural Materials & Variations
Timber, natural sandstone, granite, and porcelain may display natural variations in grain, color, and texture.
We ensure high-grade material selection, but natural batch variations are inherent to genuine stone and timber.
7. Damage to Property & Safety
Our team takes extreme care to protect existing structures, lawns, and neighbouring boundaries during work.
The client must inform us of any underground services, pipework, or cables prior to excavation.
8. Cancellation & Alterations
The client may cancel or reschedule a project by providing at least 14 days written notice prior to the start date.
Custom materials already ordered or manufactured prior to cancellation will be charged at cost.
9. Resolving Potential Disputes
In the rare event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve matters amicably through direct consultation or independent mediation.
10. Additional Work & Scope Changes
Any additional landscaping tasks requested during construction will be quoted separately and agreed upon before work begins.
11. Premises & Site Access
The client agrees to provide reasonable access to electricity, fresh water, and site entry during standard working hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
12. Photos & Media Usage
London Landscapers reserves the right to photograph completed projects for portfolio and promotional use, ensuring client privacy is fully respected.
13. Payment & Completed Work
Final balance payments are due within 7 days of project completion and client walkthrough inspection.
14. Deposits
A deposit (typically 25% – 30%) is required prior to project commencement to secure material orders and schedule labor.
15. Completion & Handover
Upon completion, a joint inspection will be carried out with the client to ensure 100% satisfaction before final sign-off.
16. Termination of Contract
Either party may terminate the contract if fundamental breaches occur that remain unresolved after 7 days written notice.
